description abstractStress distribution of high pressure vessel wall is not even. How to appropriately distribute stresses on high pressure vessel wall is our goal. It can be realized in flat steel ribbon wound pressure vessel (FSRWPV). The paper shows that stress can be distributed in someway on FSRWPV wall by controlling prestress and winding angle of its flat steel ribbon. An example is given at the end. [S0094-9930(00)00902-1]
