description abstractThis paper presents the results of dynamic rolling experiments examining the variations in rolling force, back tension and roll gap in response to a sinusoidal dynamic component of various frequencies being superimposed on the roll gap or back tension. Comparisons between the experimental results and the corresponding simulation results are also presented to investigate the validity of the new dynamic model of the rolling process presented in Part 1 of this paper.
