description abstractWhen machining materials such as graphite and plastics, a very interesting phenomenon can be observed in the manner of the tool wear. The faster the speed, the lower the rate of tool wear. The experimental analysis gives an acceptable ground for the proposition that the phenomenon can be attributed to the rheological behavior in wear.
