Abstract: The equations governing the flow of plane and axisymmetic viscous-gravity jets are shown to have solutions which can be derived from one generalized equation. Solutions for the plane jet for various boundary and flow conditions are given here. Similar solutions for the axisymmetric jet are already in the literature.
