| description abstract | Studies were undertaken to determine a practical method of reducing the ozone content of cabin intake air typical of high-altitude, high-speed aircraft. To make use of the aircraft ram air temperature rise, catalytic filters were investigated for purposes of ozone destruction. The effective temperature range and life of the more promising catalytic materials were investigated. A brief study of ozone adsorptive materials at lower temperatures is included. | |
