Abstract: An approximate numerical method is proposed for solving two-dimensional potential flow problems. The method is included in the general class of “Method of Weighted Residuals.” Typical computed results are presented for the surface pressure distributions on an airfoil and single noncircular cylinders immersed in a uniform infinite stream.
