    Abstract: A new version of the erosion threat criterion [1], taking into account the effect of the size of droplets impinging on the unit rotor blade surface element, has been presented in the paper. A manner of evaluation of the rotor blade lifetime basing on the modified erosion threat criterion τF′ = f(UEMD (η), erosion state) and a method of determination of the depth of material loss have been described.
