    Abstract: A simple form of spin-surface is investigated and it is shown how, via this surface, spatial mechanisms may readily be synthesized to give twelve-point straight line motion or twelve-point circular motion. The spatial mechanisms are obtained by adding links to plane four-bar linkages.
