    Abstract: A semianalytical approach for the computation of the local buckling of stiffened plates under any combination of applied biaxial compression, in-plane bending, and shear stress is presented. The plate is treated as partially restrained against rotation and in-plane translation. In the first stage, the plate is treated as infinitely long and the buckling mode is idealized by straight lines with arbitrary parameters. The energy method is then used to formulate the buckling coefficient,
