description abstractCrack width calculation is an important part of concrete structure design. Due to many factors, the calculation formulas for crack width of concrete beam in various national standards are different from each other. In this paper, a comparative analysis of parameters in crack width formula of ACI318, BS8110, CEB-FIP, GB50010, JTG D62–2004, and TB10002. 3 codes is completed according to different theories. A typical reinforced concrete T beam bridge and box girder bridge are selected to predict crack widths by abovementioned formulas under the standard load grade of a China highway, and the calculation values of background bridges are compared with the measured values. The results show that the crack width values predicated by ACI318, BS8110, CEB-FIP, and GB50010 for the reinforced concrete T beam bridges are relatively close to the measured values, and those predicated by ACI318, BS8110, CEB-FIP, and GB50010 for the continuous box bridge are less than the real values.
