    Abstract: Personal computers are an accepted necessity for “businesses of all sizes.” Trying to cut through the sometimes confusing assortment of computers, printers, monitors, and other attachments can be an intimidating experience. This paper is brief and to the point in describing the more important features of personal computer systems and it aids in defining the criteria whereby a novice user may intelligently evaluate his options.
