Abstract: Abstract. The objective of this study is to propose an innovative method for obtaining an approximate analytical solution to a problem describing the flow of a hybrid nanofluid, composed of aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and copper (Cu) nanoparticles suspended in blood, within a stenosed artery. This approach combines Shehu transform (ST) with reduced differential transform method, resulting in a novel hybrid technique referred to as Shehu transform reduced differential transform method (SRDTM). The governing flow equations are first reduced to ordinary differential equations using a similarity transformation and subsequently solved with the developed method. The reliability of SRDTM is validated through comparative tables, which show excellent agreement between the obtained results and those reported in previous studies. Furthermore, graphical illustrations are used to investigate the effects of various physical parameters, including volume fraction, flow rate parameter, Prandtl number, Nusselt number, and skin friction coefficient, on velocity and temperature profiles of blood flow in stenosed arteries. Additionally, error tables and both theoretical and computational convergence analyses further confirm the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the proposed method compared to reduced differential transform method.
