Abstract: A dew gage constructed of matted acetate has been developed which gives consistent results but only approximates the variable dew deposit on leafy vegetation. Actual amount of dew is computed by weighing the gage in light or moderate dew areas and by measuring volume where extremely heavy dew occurs.
