Abstract: A simulation model using Monte Carlo techniques based on Markov chain probabilities of ppreciitation is proposed as a means to determine the number of workdays available in a given calendar period, or the number of calendar days required to yield a specified number of workdays for scheduling of outdoor activities. Examples and suggested uses are also discussed.
