Abstract: The experience obtained from the use of fluorescent tracers for meteorological studies at the National Reactor Testing Station, Idaho, is discussed. Several different tracers have been examined and the advantages for each are pointed out for different applications. Details of release, collection and analysis are given to facilitate technique development.
