    Abstract: This article presents an empirical relationship for determining the monthly distribution of hourly temperatures from the monthly mean, mean maximum, and mean minimum temperatures. It is a demonstration that distributions of hourly temperatures from climates as diverse as the Arctic and the tropics can be brought together into one relationship.
