Abstract: Preparing the grading plan of a highway and/or an intersection is an effective way to obtain a ``three dimensional'' view of the entire design area, and to check and possibly modify alignments, profiles, slopes, drainage facilities, structures, and other parts of the design. A method of grading highways, applied to a turning roadway terminal ramp, is developed in this technical note.
