Land Information Management: A Canadian Perspective

Abstract

Canadian society is entering an era in which a dominant public issue will be the need for more careful stewardship of the land, and the more intensive management of its limited resource stocks. This in turn will require a re‐examination of the procedures and strategies for providing information about the land. This paper provides a conceptual framework for such a reexamination from a land information management perspective.
