Abstract: Aquifer constants (transmissibility and storage coefficients) of infinite homogeneous and isotropic aquifers are normally evaluated by graphical procedures using a sufficient amount of pumping test data. A method is proposed which can calculate these constants numerically without involving any curve fitting. The method can be used if only a few sets of the data are available. The accuracy of the method is of the same order as of other graphical methods.
