Abstract: The concept of critical static pressure ratio across a fluid meter is first discussed. Various formulations for critical pressure ratios are then developed and solutions are tabulated for convenience. Conclusions, based on graphical and numerical studies, are drawn as to which critical pressure ratios apply in the various supercritical formulations.
