Abstract

Tamأ،s Inspergerreceived his M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering in 1999 and his Ph.D. degree in applied mechanics in 2002 from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where he currently holds an associate professor position. He held visiting positions at the Washington University, St. Louis, MO, in 2001; and the Claremont Colleges, Claremont, CA, in 2012. His research interests are in the area of timedelay systems and digital control, focusing on applications such as machinetool vibrations and robotics. He is the author of approximately 100 publications, including the book,Semidiscretization for TimeDelay Systems, Springer 2011.
