| description abstract | In this study, numerical simulations of a vapor bubble in subcooled pool boiling have been performed. The applied numerical procedure coupling level-set function with moving mesh method has been validated by comparing the results of bubble-growth history including bubble departure diameter with data from experiments. The predictions of bubble dynamics and heat transfer for various subcoolings as well as different gravity levels are presented. | |
