Abstract: The results of a survey on acceptable residual specific unbalance are discussed in the context of existing balancing criteria. The study includes a statistical analysis of the data received. The results are divided in two subclasses of information according to rotor-use and rotor-weight for the purpose of grouping quantitative data for similar rotors.
