Abstract: Experimental data are presented for the flow of argon in a converging nozzle in the continuum, slip, and free molecular regimes. The data are plotted in a number of ways so as to show clearly the characteristics of the flow. In addition, an empirical equation is offered with which one can estimate the flow at any pressure level.
