Abstract: It has been my great privilege to serve as Editor of the ASME Journal of Pressure Vessel Technology (JPVT) from 1993 to 2005. The JPVT, the technical voice of the Pressure Vessels and Piping (PVP) Division, has been rated by the ASME Board of Editors, “As the leader in its field.” Certainly, this success is a great tribute to all the Associate Editors who served the Journal over the past 12years.
