    Euler Number Based Orifice Discharge Coefficient Relationship

    Source: Journal of Fluids Engineering:;2003:;volume( 125 ):;issue: 001::page 189

    Gerald L. Morrison
    DOI: 10.1115/1.1521955
    Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
    Abstract: A new relationship for orifice flow meter discharge coefficients has been developed which replaces the Reynolds number dependence with the Euler number. Both relationships have the same accuracy for the calculation of the discharge coefficient but the new relationship eliminates the need to know fluid viscosity.
