    Abstract: Experiments are conducted on a heat pump with refrigerants R22, R407C and R407A. The performance is compared in terms of coefficient of performance, heating/cooling capacities, and exergy efficiency of the overall system. The results are analyzed from an exergy point of view to bring out the conditions under which the performance is maximum.
