Abstract: Welcome to 2000 and the New Millennium on behalf of the ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping Division. As we progress into the new century, it is fitting to pause and to reflect on the past as well as upon the future. Most certainly, the JOURNAL OF PRESSURE VESSEL TECHNOLOGY shares in both the success of the PVP Division in the past and in the challenges as we look ahead to the New Millennium.
