    Abstract: The effects of geometry, Reynolds number, and wall temperature on the separation of a fluid jet from a curved surface are investigated. The results are used to develop an electropneumatic signal converter which has no moving parts. Resistive heating is used to control the wall temperature, which in turn controls the jet separation from the curved surface.
