| description abstract | Condition-Monitoring of the crusher frames, using stress and vibration analysis, is described. It is shown that the meshing clearances between the countershaft pinion and the eccentric ring gear are critical to safe operation. It also is shown that shock stresses occur for very small close-side settings and these stresses are caused by lateral vibration of the relief springs. | |
