    Abstract
Abstract. This paper proposes a novel control method that combines the equivalent beam model and model predictive control. By using the advantages of the simple equivalent model and model predictive control to handle saturation constraints, active vibration control was successfully implemented on a large spatial antenna truss structure with geometric nonlinearity. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method, a large space antenna truss structure model with geometric nonlinearity was established based on the updated Lagrangian formulation. Finally, through numerical simulation, not only was the accuracy of the established nonlinear model verified, but also concluded that the proposed control method can solve the problem of controlling a cable actuator with unilateral and saturation constraints on the space antenna truss.
