    Abstract
The study focuses on the two-way mechanical performance of tightly spliced prestressed laminated floor slabs. A square prestressed laminated slab composed of three connecting seams was designed and fabricated. Subsequently, a static flexural behavior test was conducted on this slab, which was simply supported on all four sides. The load-bearing capacity, flexural stiffness, deformation properties, and support reaction of the laminated slabs were obtained. Based on the validated finite-element model, the mechanical properties of the laminated slabs were analyzed utilizing plastic hinge line and strip analysis. The results showed that the reinforced connecting seam used in this paper can transfer the slab load well under the action of load, and the laminated slab has good two-way force characteristics. The strip analysis method can accurately reflect the load distribution characteristics of prestressed laminated slab. In the elastic stage, the load was transferred along the two directions with equal magnitude. As cracks developed, the prestressed laminated slab transitioned into the elastic-plastic stage, with the prestress direction becoming the primary direction of load transmission. In the plastic stage, the calculated ultimate load of the tightly spliced prestressed laminated floor slabs based on the principle of virtual work matched well with the test results, which verified the rationality of the assumed plastic failure mechanism. The research results can provide references for the engineering application of this kind of prestressed laminated slab.
