A MULTI-LEVEL BAROCLINIC MODEL APPLICABLE TO NUMERICAL PREDICTION

Abstract

Subject to various approximations, a system of partial differential equations is developed which is capable of forecasting the height of and vertical motion at the various pressure surfaces. Various techniques of numerical solution are indicated.
