description abstractAfter a brief survey of the setbacks awaiting firms that have not planned properly for leadership changes, a description is given of the mentoring programs in place at Stanley Consultants. Three programs are available, making it possible for aspirants to broaden their management and leadership skills, benefit from the tutelage of a project manager, or try their hand at marketing and generating new business for the firm. The benefits that the programs confer on both the participants and the company as a whole are discussed.
