description abstractCharacteristics of wind pressures on a low-rise building immersed in various building area densities were investigated using three-dimensional Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) turbulence models. Wind pressure coefficients obtained from the numerical simulations were compared with those of wind pressure measurements. The results show that for wind pressure coefficients for an isolated model, more reasonable results were obtained when the renormalization group (RNG)
