description abstractThis paper presents the results of a study to determine the costefficient compaction method in relation to geotechnical properties for the compaction of coal waste embankments, utilizing different compaction methods, equipment passes, and lift thickness, a cost efficient compaction method is suggested. The findings obtained in this study supply information for the compaction of coal waste embankments in the coal mining industry.
