Research on Asphalt Pavement Quality Control Parameter Criteria System

Abstract

The project entitled “Investigation of Asphalt Pavement Quality Control through Construction Process Control” is one of the projects initiated by the Ministry of Communications under the China’s Western Regions Development Program. With extensive research on many test highways, based on application of AHP methods and fuzzy criteria, the project offered a practical asphalt pavement construction quality control process and parameter criteria system suitable to prevailing asphalt pavement construction environment in China. It can ensure the construction and management under control and help decision-making.
