description abstractConstruction of the mass rapid transit system is of great importance both to rationally utilizing the economical resource and optimizing the overall arrangement of urban land use. However, the decision-making process is always influenced by some subjective factors. In this paper, the data envelopment analysis method is introduced to design an evaluation model for the decision-making process of three MRT systems (Subway, LRT, BRT). Due to excessive indices, AHP is used to deal with weighted processing in order to get synthetical indices to make evaluation simple. Relatively important coefficients are introduced to the target function of DEA to resolve the traditional DEA’s dependence on the input-output data completely, which fails to reflect the actual important degree of the indices. It is testified that combined method of DEA and AHP is adaptive and maneuverable in the process of decision-making for MRT systems.
