Study of Background Generation in Video Traffic Scene

Abstract

According to the character of traffic video scene, a new method called different background pixel iteration algorithm was proposed for background generation and updating of traffic scene based on video technology. Experimental results and the comparison with other method prove that the proposed method is feasible and advanced for generating and updating background under the condition of high traffic flow density. It is meaningful to employ this method to improve the accuracy and applicability of application in traffic video detection.
