description abstractThis paper presents the flexure of concrete beams prestressed with aramid fiber-reinforced polymer (AFRP) tendons. Three-dimensional nonlinear finite-element analysis and iterative sectional analysis are conducted to predict the behavior of AFRP-prestressed members, including experimental validation.
