description abstractThe impact of individual attitudes and organizational policies concerning liability are reflected in the techniques and procedures followed by an organization, To reduce liability exposure, organizations must respond with new attitudes and corresponding changes in procedures. Several new concepts are suggested that will assist in reducing the liability exposure of the organization. Relationships among engineers, contractors and clients are addressed. Office procedures and contract administration are also reviewed.
