description abstractMeasurements of the vertical structure of the troposphere were carried out using a VHF radar during the passage of a warm front. The radar records indicated a descent of layers of enhanced humidity and temperature variations at the frontal surface. It is shown that the radar measurements are in fair agreement with local and synoptic weather observations.
