| description abstract | In a recent paper, explicit expressions have been derived for obtaining and subsequently partitioning streamfunction growth rates for a class of quasigeostrophic models. Unfortunately, however, some typographical errors have been made in the final representation of the equations. It is the aim of this corrigendum to give the correct expressions. The author notes that the results in the two-paper miniseries on ?Resonance in Optimal Perturbation Evolution? by de Vries and Opsteegh have been obtained using the correct expressions, as listed as Eqs. (1),?(3) below. | |
