description abstractA workshop on Weather and Climate Modelling, held in New Delhi (7?9 February 2002), India, under the aegis of the Indo?U.S. Science and Technology Forum brought together scientists involved in weather and climate modeling from both India and the United States. The National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF) in New Delhi hosted the workshop. In addition to scientists, representatives from the user community, such as the Indian armed forces and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, participated. In all, there were about 120 delegates.
