description abstractComparative evaporation measurements for both BPI sunken and WB Class A pans at Fort Assiniboine, Mont., for an 8-year period, are reported and are subjected to several elementary analyses which indicate that pan-to-pan ratios determined in one area are not necessarily applicable to any other. The latter point is shown by a comparison of ratios from several widely separated points in the nation. Comparative pan temperatures (maximum, minimum, and mean) are also tabulated and discussed.
