description abstractA technique for viewing stereo-pairs of photographs is described. Stereo-pairs are used to illustrate the slender structure of cumulus clouds generally observed during the Winter and Summer Monsoon Experiments; the visual appearance of ?hot towers?; the prevalence of thin stratus layers, including the existence of discontinuities in the vertical through them and the growth of altocumulus from them; and the delicate structure and considerable depth of elements of cirrus.
