description abstractMesurements obtained in a thin, cirriform cloud that formed in the temperature range of ?83° to ?84°C and an altitude range at 16.2 to 16.7 km are presented. Implications of the results for particle generation in polar stratospheric clouds developing with similar conditions are discussed.
