| description abstract | The response of a simple bounded-ocean model to a fluctuating wind stress is studied. Both the linear response and the resulting steady non-linear circulations are computed. The results of this analysis show that the structures of the steady and fluctuating ocean circulations are strongly dependent on the frequency of the forcing. | |
