description abstractThe effect of temperature on gas transfer has typically been accounted for through empirical equations. Ideally the temperature dependence of the liquid film coefficient should be derived through the temperature dependence of the physical properties influencing the gas transfer process. Herein existing equations and models for the prediction of the temperature correction factor are compared.
