description abstractPosition fixing by hidden points bar from one theodolite is an Industrial Surveying practice used as a last resort in difficult environments of measurements. Determination of the coordinates of inaccessible points sought is performed by least squares adjustment with constraints. Conventional methods of coordinate determination check the efficiency of the method. In the present adjustment, normally of low redundancy, the assignment of accurate provisional values to the aforementioned coordinates constitutes an essential task.
